Join Methow Trails and the Methow Valley Nordic Ski Education Foundation February 11, 2023 for the fifth annual Ski to the Sun Marathon and Relay. The course travels through North America's largest ski trail network and takes skiers from the tranquil banks of the Methow River to the beautiful mountain vistas at Sun Mountain Lodge. Ski the marathon as an individual or as a relay with up to five other friends or family members (details below). The relay is freestyle technique - racers are welcome to skate or classic ski and results will be determined by overall time in individual and relay divisions. The marathon offers both freestyle and classic categories while we have both standing and sit ski categories on an adjusted course for para Nordic racers. You'll enjoy food, festivities, and fun along the way!

The 2023 Ski to the Sun Marathon & Relay was an absolute blast! Thank you to everyone who came out to race and to our amazing groomers and the hundred+ volunteers who lined the course to make this even such a success. We can't wait until next year! Be sure to sign up early for the 2024 race!
