WTA & WDFW Summer Volunteer Program
- Events /
WTA is proud to partner with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) to launch a pilot trailhead ambassador program in Central & Northern Washington this summer.
This work is a part of WDFW's 10-Year Recreation Strategy for WDFW-managed Lands, aiming to improve visitor experiences and reduce recreation impacts. WTA will be hosting volunteers at two WDFW sites in the Methow area every Saturday this summer. The volunteers will be welcoming visitors to Pipestone Canyon & Lewis Butte and providing them with resources to recreate responsibly during their visit. DATES: July 1-September 16
