Meetup Itinerary

Friday, January 13th

5:00 - 7:00pm Night Ride from Winthrop Town Trailhead (2-3 volunteers needed from about 4pm-5pm to help mark the ride route)
Meet at the Town Trailhead in Winthrop at 4:45pm, ready to ride with your bike, good lights, and dressed warm. We’ll depart at 5:00pm and head out to the Bitterbrush and Barnsley fatbike trails. Ride as long as you'd like and warm yourself and swap stories around the fire afterwards. A Methow Trails fatbike trail or ski pass required.

Saturday January 14th:

10:00 am Morning Ride on the Pearrygin Lake Sno-Park Trail System
We'll gather at the lower trailhead at Pearrygin Lake State Park for the first group ride opportunity of the weekend. We'll start with a short ride over to the swim area in the East Campground to get the traditional weekend group photo. Riders can then continue to explore the Pearrygin Lake area and Lloyd Ranch trails. Warming fires will be located at a few spots on the trail system. A Sno-Park permit is required to park at any of three trailheads located within Pearrygin Lake State Park. A Discover Pass is required to park at the Lloyd Ranch trailhead.

4:00 – 7:00pm Fat and Happy Hour at Methow Cycle & Sport and Lit Crit
Gather back at Methow Cycle & Sport in Winthrop starting at 4pm for beverages, snacks, and more fat fun. Join in the Lit Crit on the ballfield across the street or just cheer on the participants. Chat about the day's riding and make connections with others for more great fatbiking on Sunday. (No formal rides are planned on Sunday.)
